is 1439. The Village of Prairie du Sac is located in southeast Sauk County on
the West Bank of the Wisconsin River, approximately 30 miles north of Madison.
Not only is the Village of Prairie du Sac an impressive place to visit, it is a

One of the
Village of Prairie du Sac's most distinctive characteristics is its location on
the Wisconsin River in which many of our parks are located next to. Providing
the Village's east boundary, the river area serves as a unique nesting ground
for eagles in the winter months and provides a variety of recreation activities
in the summer months.
